Rio Tinto Aluminium Limited agrees to sell primary aluminium metal to the buyer according to the particular General Conditions of Sale indexed here. By accepting the final price offered for Rio Tinto Aluminium metal, the Customer is accepting these General Conditions of Sale. These Conditions of Sale are not negotiable either prior to or after accepting the offer price. Please read the relevant document carefully before entering into negotiation with your Rio Tinto Aluminium representative on sales contracts, as the details may already be covered.

Note: Rio Tinto Aluminium Limited may alter, add or remove any Condition at any time, and will notify parties to which the Conditions apply at that time accordingly.

Rio Tinto's global code of conduct, entitled The Way We Work, was relaunched on 9 December 2009. The new edition supersedes business unit codes of conduct and establishes a common Group wide code. It has been translated into nearly 20 languages and is available for download from the Policies, standards & guidance section of the Rio Tinto website.
